This policy explains how the Flippinho mobile and Garmin watch apps handle information, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.
Garmin watch app
The Flippinho app for Garmin Forerunner 70 works entirely offline. It does not require a Flippinho account or phone connection, requests no Connect IQ permissions, makes no network requests, and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The Garmin app stores only game progress in its private local storage on the watch: heads and tails counts, total flips, streak information, unlocked coins, and the selected coin. This information never leaves the Garmin device through Flippinho. The Garmin app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party SDKs.
Removing the Garmin app or clearing its app data through Garmin software may remove this local progress. Because Flippinho never receives Garmin-app data, there is no remote Garmin account data for us to access, export, or delete.
Mobile app information we collect
- Account information: your chosen username and email address.
- Authentication information: a one-way password hash. Your original password is not stored.
- Game information: flip totals, streaks, selected coin and platform, unlock status, and save timestamps.
- Basic technical information: network and security logs that may include an IP address, request time, and error details.
How we use it
We use this information to create and authenticate your account, synchronize progress, operate the leaderboard, protect the service, diagnose errors, and respond to support requests. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs in the current version.
Leaderboard visibility
Your system-generated global tag and saved heads, tails, total flips, and rank may be visible to other signed-in players. Your login username and email address are never shown on the leaderboard.
Service providers and storage
The production service runs on privately managed infrastructure. Cloudflare provides the encrypted network tunnel and stores encrypted off-site backups in Cloudflare R2. Apple and Expo process app distribution or build information under their own policies. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Your live account data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete the account inside Flippinho from Account → Danger zone → Delete account. Deleted data is removed from the live database and ages out of encrypted backups under the backup retention schedule, which keeps up to six monthly recovery snapshots. Limited security logs may be retained as reasonably necessary to protect and operate the service.
Security and international processing
Flippinho uses HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, authenticated access, private database networking, and encrypted off-site backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Cloudflare, Apple, or Expo may process limited information in countries other than your own according to their service terms.
Children
Flippinho is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
